| The GAV is a
completely automatic riveting system, designed to feed and set
break-mandrel blind rivets. The GAV riveting tool
head features through-the-nose rivet feed. This functional design
eliminates external moving parts or mechanisms, and
provides both safety and easier access to applications. Housed within the
console is the Electronic Control Unit, Hydraulic
Power Transmitter, and the Vibratory Rivet Feeder. As the operator
activates the trigger on the tool head, a single rivet
is set, the spent mandrel portion of the rivet is returned to the mandrel
collector, and another rivet is automatically delivered
to the ready position in the tool’s nosepiece. |
